Career Pathway  


  • Connect Team - Start your career in the connect team as described above. After gaining some experience with the industry and company, as well as reviewing overall performance you can be considered to move forward with S.A.F.E. training and exam in preparation of Jr. Loan Officer position.  
  • S.A.F.E. Training and Exam - Must complete S.A.F.E. training and pass exam to move forward to Jr. Loan Officer. 
  • Jr. Loan Officer - After completion of S.A.F.E. training and passing of exam, you will begin training of Jr. Loan Officer position and move forward as a Jr. Loan Officer and beyond. 


*Timing of Connect team member to Loan Officer varies depending on training, pass/fail of exam, and overall performance.   



  • Perform introductory phone calls to customers who have inquired or expressed interest in a mortgage loan. 
  • Prior to transferring the prospect to a licensed MLO (or scheduling an appointment with a MLO), the Partner may gauge a prospects interest in obtaining a mortgage loan by: 
  • Obtaining or verifying customer contact information 
  • Exploring a borrower’s needs and goals in general terms 
  • Answering questions about the process in general terms 
  • Telling the customer about UHM 
  • Arrange a time for the customer to speak with a MLO for the purpose of submitting and reviewing a loan application. 
  • Assist in the coordinating of the loan process between the MLO and customer. 
  • Base pay + Commission (per transfer and funded loan)

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Sales/Banking experience preferred 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation and highly organized. 
  • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness. 
  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service.
